Solution Description:

Triton Systems, Inc. along, with our subject matter expert consultant, propose to develop PEEpod, a novel and innovate bladder relief system to be used in-flight by female aircrew. Our solution consists of a simplistic cup and integrated collection bag design. The small form factor is easy to stow before and after use and comfortably fits within the constraints of the flight equipment during use. The cup is designed to fit comfortably against the wearer’s anatomy and features a soft compressible edge to create a seal and prevent leaks. At the bottom of the cup is a port to directly connect with the matching panel on the collection bag. Urine is transported through the device to the collection bag using passive fluid kinetics and does not require pump or batteries. Aircrew can easily switch collection bags out during flight to support multiple voids. The collection bags rapidly solidify liquid and are securely stowed in additional, lightweight sealed bags until after flight.
